Shelterbox is providing temporary accommodation for people in Lebanon whose homes have been destroyed

Following the Tonbridge Rotary Club’s donation of £564 to Shelter Box in support of their essential work in Lebanon, we have received the following letter in reply –

Thank you everybody at The Rotary Club of Tonbridge for your Club’s recent donation of £564. We are extremely grateful for your club’s contribution to assist families in Lebanon and across the Middle East.

We are working together with a local organisation and Rotary in Lebanon to provide families with essential items such as blankets, mattresses, food containers, solar lights, kitchen sets, and hygiene kits. Our teams continue to liaise with Rotary in Lebanon to identify vulnerable communities as we design the project to support people there.

Thank you again for the role your club plays in disaster response.
