Tonbridge Rotary was founded in 1924 and has been serving the local community for over 100 years. We work directly with local youth and community groups and raise money to support both local and international charities and good causes
Ours is a friendly club of approximately 30 members. We meet on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month at Poult Wood Golf Club, Tonbridge.
The club is part of Rotary International, the world’s largest service organisation. With over 1.2 million members and a presence in 68 countries Rotary advances causes for peace and to help mankind through improvements in health, education and resources.
Our major fundraising events of the year are the Tonbridge Half Marathon, staged jointly with Tonbridge Lions Club, the Rotary Charity Golf Day and the Tonbridge Rotary Christmas Festival, which is run on behalf of Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council for the benefit of the local community.
We also support many local community groups and events. Our Community Service projects include the Kids Out theme park adventure, senior citizens' theatre visits and country drive & tea, careers advice at local schools and Judd Greenpower.
